People need to get this idea that the GamePad is expensive to produce out of their heads. Console controllers ALWAYS have a huge markup. There isn't really a great deal of expensive material in there. Even the 6 inch touchscreen isn't going to add a great deal to the BOM, it's a resistive touchscreen not a capacitive one. They could probably have them retailing for $70 and still make a profit on each unit sold.
