So Soul Sacrifice is already about half as big as MH in the US. MHU sold 60-70K in the US in more time than SS was tracked by NPD. MH3U sold over 130K first month if you don't ignore that it is a multiplatform game anyway.

Launch sales do matter when games are frontloaded.
