Both franchises should not be compared even though they are the major titles for both brands.

Why not? Both are definitely the biggest exclusive brands for their respective consoles. Therefore they have to be compared.

Thats the problem, they have no genre comparison. The only reason people care to compare them is account of what sells systems. If you want to do that then do the same with Mario Kart and all the others.

As if anyone is interested in the competition with nintendo - really stage, this is ridiculous. If you don't want GT compared to Halo, ok, your opinion (why?) but both are the biggest games for the consoles. I somehow get the feeling you don't want them to be compared for another reason...
