Wait who is rating 4k highly (other than maybe TV manufacturers) for something to be overated it needs people to be talking it up. And as far as I know everyone is saying that 4K is not worth it yet as content and price isn't there and you need a huge screen for it to be worth it.
Now 8K on the other hand now there is where it's at.
