The Sony rep told me you won't see as big of a difference of a 40-50 inch set. You need the bigger set to see the difference in detail. Shrugs. That was just what he was telling me.
In either case, to be honest, I don't see this really being a big deal to consumers. The big jump from SD to HD, this is just kind of a little hop by comparision, even if technically it's a large leap, how "eye pleasing" the image is definitely reaching a point of diminishing returns.
