Wii U has been miserably in every country. I would say: A resounding no.
The 3DS has shown major improvement since the release of larger more popular titles from the likes of Luigi's Mansion 2. I expect no less from Animal Crossing: New Leaf, either. The 3DS is finding it's footing in NA, and nicely at that.
