This, very much this! I enjoy whatever little social life I have but whenever any kind of a relationship becomes obligation, in any way, I more or less stop caring. Whatever social contacts I have, I have because they add something to my life - they make it better. If that's not the case, it's not worth the effort. Or, to put a monetary value, it's worth $0. As for those proper relationships, I can't put a price on them - they're very much priceless to me. Not too many of those, though... For the most part, I do just fine by myself.
