All these are not new IP games.  New Characters but not new Ip's.  If you are just talking about new characters then change the title to best new characters of the generation.

Technically FF games are like seperate titles everytime they are released, but I get what you're saying there. Its like the same author giving a new story everytime and GTA falls into that same category. As for Arkham City that is a new franchise in the batman universe. Many have failed but that succeeded.
