Isn't 3.5 million pretty good for a new console that hasn't gone through but one holiday season?

It's it way better I belive than the Xbox 360 life time to date.

It's lower than GameCube launch alligned. It's not doing ok.

The original Wii was past 6 million at this point I believe and probably would've been in the 7-9 million range if Nintendo could've actually met demand.

The original Wii was an amazing hit.  I don't know if we will see another one like that for quite some time.

It had the buzz of everybody.  Gamers and non gamers, everyone was curious, interested, it was selling.

In other words, it was a fad which died very quickly.
