1.  Who am I? Just a gamer...Who are the devs that made the choice not to include easy mode? People that put their life into making the game..They decide not me. and they are right for not letting people play DS With an easy mode, DS Loses its meaning that way. I'm taking myself into consideration with that arguement because I know that I would have  gave up, Picked easy mode and not liked the game nearly as much. as well as many other fans.

2.Even if they made the Gameplay slightly easier(such as enemy doing less damage..You have more attack) the game wouldn't really be much easier...You have to have Knowledge to beat a boss/area. If you know how to beat it on easy then you might as just beat it on hard. Thats the Key to beating dark souls. Getting rid of the DNA of the game just isn't worth the risk of losing their base just so the few casuals that would play and prob wouldn't like it anyway can make it through a easy, hand holding version of dark souls.

3. There are hundreds of games out there that would have simmilar branding. Prepare to die...No easy way out...Over come your challenges is what makes Dark souls stand out and what made people buy the game and continue to play it today.

1. If they want to make decisions that alienate thousands of potential players, that's their call, but its kind of at odds with the claimed desire to expand their audience.

2. You wouldn't have to casualize it though. A measured approach could hit both audiences.

3. As above, you could have the best of both worlds.
