They're clearly running out of actual things to do if city "health" initiatives are taking up this much of their time. Sounds like the Mayor's office could do with significant staff reduction so that everyone who's left only has time to deal with things like fire/ police, water, roads, zoning, and electricity.

Think of it this way: the money saved by reducing staff at the Mayor's office would instead stay in the wallets of NYC residents.  They'd be able to keep more of their own money, thus they'd be able to buy more cigarettes and expensive sugary sodas.  Buying cigarettes and soda contributes to the economy more than paying artificially high wages to busy-bodies in an expensive office building, where seemingly their only purpose is widdling their way down long lists of what to ban next.

But they Should remove corn-syrup from soda to reduce how much sugar is put in it which will make it taste better and make it healthier all at the same time.

And they should buy marijuana which is more safe then red wine. But corporate tobacco cigarettes is more worse then smoking heroine.

They should put all that cigarette money into Marijuana because it will make them emotionally happy and full of energy and it will make them healthier and live longer and prevent cancer and prevent other diseases and increase their metabolism and age more gracefully.

And who is "they?"

For the sodas I was referring to the state of new York.

For the rest of it I was talking about people who buy tobacco and how they should be buying Marijuna instead.
