i think the MMO is going to become very popular and varied here in just a few short months.
once the ps4 and xbox release this holiday i think you'll find a ton of game focus even more on online than this gen. games like destiny for instance. it won't be exactly a traditional definition of MMO but they will be massive, persistent, online-multiplayer games and that counts to me.
..and then we'll see more variety. we'll have to because the WoW formula can't translate quite so exactly to consoles. ..and they'll be FPSs.
