Indifferent about SEGA. I have a Dreamcast and I thought the system was great. That's the only reason I respect them really. They have done nothing to gain my respect this gen. I do enjoy Shinobi on the PS2 and I still play it, and I liked their offerings last gen, but this gen they have not provided anything to sway me. I have not tried Sonic Generations yet, but I heard it is very good. Perhaps I should give that title a go before I cast them in a negative light.
Capcom .... my love for 2 generations. I bought almost everything Capcom produced on the PS1, N64, DC, PS2 and GC, but this gen it appeared to me the honeymoon was finally over. I disliked some of the decisions they made pertaining to their long standing franchises (Megaman and RE for instance), and I really disliked things like DLC on disc, their constant repackaging of games and simultaneously screwing over early adopters in the process. I wasn't exactly swayed by their titles this gen either. I probably own a handful - UMvsC3, Super SF 4: AE, DMC HD, and a few other games. The previous generations my libraries comprised of around 40% Capcom titles. I do intend to acquire more games from them in this gen, including Dragon's Dogma: DA, Lost Planet 3 and a few older titles like SF X TK. I also respect them for taking some risks this gen - albeit not many (DmC and Asura's Wrath). I hope they'll dispense with these bad decisions and do better next gen.
