Gears of War: Judgement doesn't seem to be selling that well. If you look on Amazon.co.uk for example you'll see that it's on the 58th spot in the best selling video games of the moment. God of War: Ascension which was released near Gears sits on the 7th spot. Uncharted 3 can be found at position 45. It's tells you something huh!

It tells us that Gears is still selling at a higher price point than any of those two games:

It tells us that hardly anyone is interested in paying over £30 for Gears of War: Judgment which is why it's dropped out of the charts as hard as the Titanic did to the sea floor after hitting the iceberg. Even with a £20 price tag I doubt it would sell as well as God of War: Ascension has the past 2 weeks, word of mouth has got around that GeoW:J is terrible, it will hardly pick up until it's at a bargain bin price (£10-£15).

If hardcore Gears of War fans really wanted the game £25-£30 shouldn't be too much.

I'm glad I only borrowed it, I told all my friends who are fans of past Gears games that it's awful and none of them are interested in it. Only one bought it because they are a huge fan of the series but even they hated it, lol. What's the point of buying Judgment when Gears of War 3 is a much better game which still has an active community? I also managed to sell God of War: Ascension to 4 of my friends who had no intention to buy the game, all of whom really enjoyed it and play multiplayer with me often. I imagine this is mostly the case for both games, even though they both average around 80% by critics it's the fans who will help the legs stay strong, most Gears fans hate Judgment and wouldn't recommend it and most GoW fans at least like Ascension and would recommend it which is why in the long run (well not that long, in 6-8 weeks) GoW:A will outsell GeoW:J.
