From a Business Standpoint, How long should Nintendo and Sony continue on with their Struggling Systems if they continue to do the same?

Neither company should drop either system if they're both profitable. Not least because it'd look terrible from a stock perspective, but it would also lose consumer confidence (which is something you really don't want).
