This is true, they lost many, many talanted people after the failure of Spirits Within, who later went on to form new studios (Alpha Dream, Monolith Soft and Brownie Brown are all entire teams composed of former Square staff )

They still made good games sometimes, like FinalFantasy Crystal Chronicles franchise, and Final Fantasy 12 part 1 & 2 (part 2 is on DS) and Final Fantasy the 4 heroes of lightand Kingdom Hearts 3D which is around as good as 2 in storyline & way more better then Birth by Sleep in gameplay mechanics.

Lately they have been back on track to greatness once again, and I hope they keep it up.

They seem to make a lot of their best RPGs for Nintendo. Inspiration I guess.

Look forward to Bravely Default first installment coming to the WEST SIDE.
