Would it really be?

I'm thinking the opposite, I've read that the "Big Gulp" at 7-Eleven in USA is 50% larger then the average human stomach. The Big Gulp in Canada is much, much smaller, and I already think it's too big.

There should be some regulation on fountain drinks, a drink that big is a real problem for causing diabetes. Even for two people, that's far too big of a drink that people should be allowed to get.

Remember it's a Large Soda ban, not a large water ban, Bloomburg is only trying to keep people healthy and prevent corporations from making too much profit on products which are harmful.

If people can't make the decision themselves to not get a large soda then that's their fault. The government shouldn't have to babysit the whole of their population because we "make bad decisions." I understand that it may seem like a good idea because you think you would be helping people, but those people need to help themselves. There shouldn't be a regulation on food that you can literally tell yourself not to eat because you know how bad it is. (There is a difference with re-calls, of course.)

I know it's just a regulation on soda, but to regulate any type of drink/food is slightly overboard. Also, did you ever think of people buying to mediums because they wanted a large? You know, people will find a way to ruin their bodies if they really wanted to.

What they should do is just ban "Corn Syrup" from ever being in our foods & beverages.

This would solve everything, which will allow us to keep the big size. Plus we can then drastically reduce the amount of sugar in sodas to keep the same taste but better, and this will reduce the calories to what they use to be before the 20th Century.

The real problem is "corn syrup".
