I can't remember exactly when the data was removed, but I do remember a VGC writer publishing an article claiming the DS had outsold the PS2 based on the inaccurate VGC numbers. I don't know if that was the reason, but the situation didn't exactly help the veracity of VGC numbers. Who knows though. |
It must've been taken away because it wasn't needed anymore, then. Although, I don't get why it was taken away from the old archives, that doesn't make sense.
