Drake & Sully - Uncharted 2
John Marston - Red Dead Redemption
Ezio - Assassin's Creed 2
Captain Price - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I would add in Persona 4 characters, but that's really classed as a last gen (or next-gen for Golden) game.
