To be fair, a lot of post update load times have been cut in half and that milisecond delay for the TV vs the gamepad no longer happens, plus I think my framerate is much more stable in Arkham City now.

I've noticed the OS almost seems to run too fast, the animations and sounds for loading Miiverse on initial startup sound wrong.

That said, if things really have improved, we would need more rigorous analysis to see if there really is an in-game difference.

@ post above me: the further proof is also that people have tested the power draw of the Wii U through the menu and various games, and there was basically no difference before from running the console idle on the menu or playing the more resource-intensive games like Assassin's Creed 3 or Arkham City
