truth be told, it feels like sony does more out-of-the-box stuff than microsoft. i don't know why, but microsoft have so many dedicated teams on research, they just never seem to crank out interesting things the same way sony does.
nintendo... well, they go in a different direction.
the Wii is an epidemic.
