In reality I doubt it though. A modest boost is indeed possible, but it makes no sense for them to high 2/3rd of the power as it only causes damaged relationships with devs who did release content at launch.

Not a chance. They only had games and devs to lose...and they have done that, but nothing to gain from that.


Exactly nothing to gain by hiding the truth From devs. If it did indeed happen that way, they would have told those devs that they need time to improve system stability etcc, and not risk them getting pissed off, and we woudn't see them jumping up and down now.
