This is basically an admission that Sony is giving up on the thing IMO. Time to focus on the PS4, it looks like.

You mean they will drop Vita? Sadly it never took off although hardware is quite ok. I think Sony will continue to sell Vita and wait whether PS4 can help its sales but I doubt it will help the handheld. Sony has no chance of winning in the handheld-discipline, it's Nintendo's world.
