One of the coolest aspects of delegating a person powers is realizing that power's potential. Cole's ability seemingly was wielding of electricy but what does that really mean? He could control electrons, which he found a way to manipulate in many different ways. He could read the last electric pulses in a person's brain so he could see their thoughts. He could see shadow resonance left by a person through the electro currents left behind. Could use electrical current to levitate objects. He innately could accept the abilities of other conduits due to his control over his own electrical currents.

So one of the main things I have been thinking about is what this all means for Delsin. Smoke. What can smoke do? 

-Smoke is absorbed by plants so he would probably be weakest in lush forest areas.

-weightless and can float and glide, able to infiltrate almost anything. No normal door could stop him.

-Masks things in it's darkness.

-Smoke is a byproduct of fire, hence flaming fire balls/flaming chain.Which means he can also heat objects up......Gambit concept maybe?

-Chokes lungs of those who inhale it(imagine that execution where Delsin just goes into the lungs of his enemy and suffocates them to death....scary).

-He absorbs smoke as well.

-What is smoke? A mixture of carbon dioxide, water vapor, and other gases, usually containing particles of soot or other solids, produced by the burning of carbon-containing materials such as wood and coal. Carbon Dioxide...so what if his true ability is to manipulate/heat up oxygen particles?

 

I also imagine Delsin will be a lot more efficient at close range than Cole. We might also see the series finally allow you to infiltrate buildings as well which would be super cool.
