Yeah, the DC's failures was more a fault of Sega's bad moves and their bad finances, Sony just capitalised on it. Insinuating WiiU will be DC'ed when PS4/720 launch is as laughable and silly as when people said it for DS, 3DS,  Xbox 360 or any other system that launched before it's competitors.


Wii U is selling worse than Vita and more competition won't help, "just wait until Wii U games come out" nextbox and PS4 will have their own exclusives too at launch and superior looking multiplats and games only made for those 2 consoles like The Witcher or Deep Down. Kinect 2 gimmick looks to be way more appealling to consumers than the gamepad gimmick. Nintendo Dreamcasted themselves.

You're right, more competition won't help WiiU, marketing and games to end the current software drought will. And yeah, I'm sure the Witcher and deep down are more popular than a mario Kart or 3D Mario. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the Wind Waker enhanced port beats those games' sales.

Also, i like how you can look into the future and tell that Kinect 2 is way more appealling.

Marketing and games is all you can answer, MS and Sony can have that too you know. I was pointing that besides exclusives there are games like The Witcher and Deep Down which are multiplatform games not coming to the Wii U (like GTA5) and they are increasing in number every month. N64 and Gamecube had 3D Mario and Mario Kart too and Sony still beat them, the Wii motion control gimmick was wonderful, the Wii U gamepad is not.

Is not time travel or tarot reading is just looking at trends, kinect is a huge success even with its shorecomings, a much improved version bundled with every Nextbox is very appealing.

It's a good thing Nintendo isn't dependent on 3rd parties to sell their consoles then.

And competition is not a problem? Like I said before MS and Sony can match that too. Motion controls sold the Wii.

Again, N64 and Gamecube had a lot of good games, still got beat. You keep ignoring that the motion controls sold the Wii.

Yes they have improved but Ninty is still playing catch up in online services, millions of users have all their friends, achivements and thropies on XBLA and PSN for example.

Kinect sold with or without games, you can argue they are shovelware or quality titles but in any case kinect sold great. Kinect 2 will be way more integrated and improved with non gaming apps too and is a lot easier to market.
