Resident Evil Revelations pushed 130 million polygons. Kid Icarus: Uprising pushed more then 100 million polygons, and Star Fox 64 3D also push over 100 million polygons. Pokédex 3D Pro is another great example, where you can have up to 6 Pokémon displayed at once with each having such a high polygon count. Nano Assault EX & Cave Story 3D are fully develop games also doing more then 100 million polygons. Its hard to tell about Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, because those style graphics make it to hard to figure about polygon count. But Nintendo had a deadline with Mario 3D & Mario Kart 7 that clearly didn't give them enough time to add all the polygons they could back then with how familiar they where at the time with the PICA200. |
thats all well and good, but like i said MK7 felt rushed outside of visuals. But what you say makes sense, I usually dont look to eye shattering graphics when it comes to Ninty handheld games, so whatever.
