I think Nintendo games are about top tier overall visuals when it comes to their core franchises. Typically if you make a list of the top ten best looking games on any given Nintnedo console you're probably see at least 5 Nintendo games on that list. They can't compete with the graphics that appear on more powerfull system though. I think Retro's new project and Monolith's games will impress visually.
