Not if you're a 3D fanboy LOL.

On consoles I'm more of a software whore (LOL again), I went from my favorite being NES to Sega Genesis to N64 to Sega Dreamcast (same gen as N64 as far as I'm concern) to PS2 to DS to 3DS.

I was disappointed with the 7th Gen, at least when it came to it Home Consoles (PS3 & Wii for me) but they got a worthwhile library now, but now the 8th Gen consoles are here (Wii U & PS4 or maybe Wii U & 720, the Wii U seems like this Gen's PS2 for need but not as good library from what I have seen so far).

Anyways we had "45" 3D Movies in 2012 in theaters nationwide and now "67" 3D Movies in 2013 in theaters nationwide.

And then there's 3DS, which has turn a lot of doubters of 3D around, plus it's game library & Hardware sales & upcoming full 3D Movies for purchase to watch on the Nintendo 3DS on the go (boy am I glad Disney owns Marvel for such Sony Movies as the Amazing Spider-Man trilogy, and that Warner Bros. owns DC Comics for its 3D Movies).

And then there's the sales of 3D TVs doing much better then HD TVs during same point in life spam when they both started out at several thousand dollars and both drop in price at the same rate at the same amount (typical marketing with today's mark-up values since 2005 or whatever).

And both "IMAX" & "Real D" do a great job in their own format of stereoscopic 3D movies in theaters.

So I don't even need to defend 3D because it's doing too good to need any help anyways LOL, like Iron Man 3 which has a few haters but a lot of lovers.
