The thing is since the 3DS the retailers set the prices and they set them way to high.
Usually retailers "win" 20% by selling stuff in case of the WiiU they wanted like 40% I am working at a retailer and I know that by selling the system for 150 pounds we still make money.
How do I know that we still make money? Because if we wouldn't then the thing would be blacklisted for our discount as employees.
But I can still get a 10% discount if I would want a second WiiU.....
