You seem like more of an AMD guy. Well, the new 7990 is out. Grab you a cheap 8-core and that and you should be set for a while.


Might as well just chuck it away.

That's an AM2 chip so he'll need a new motherboard and new RAM just to use latest chips and also a new GPU to play any games + a new PSU to support the GPU.
