Great Knight didn't look as good for Chrom to me as well. Mine's currently at Paladin and I'm still pondering in what class i'm gonna leave him, since his stats caps are a bit higher on Paladin, plus that extra movement doesn't hurt. Beast Killers are a pain though.

Minus reinforcements, since you can look at an enemies weapons and plan accordingly its not that bad.

I agree, and he owns on DLC maps basically because you can plan ahead and not worry about reinforcements. I'm trying not to use him at all on Chapter missions because he's too OP for them, so I haven't had any issues with reinforcements so far.

By the way, at what chapter do Second Seals become a common item on merchants? I seriously need about 4 or 5 and I haven't had one in ages.
