Nintendo held no Tokyo Game Show keynote in 2011, but right around that time got the news out that Monster Hunter 4 is going to be 3DS exclusive. With a precedence like that, you might want to reconsider your position that no conventional showing equals no big news.

Im sure that was about the time Nintendo wrote Capcom the check, im sure Capcom did not do the game out of good will.

Yes,  I'm bitter about a company who is well known for breaking promises on game exclusives.  Im sure nintendo held no Tokyo Game show keynote in 2011, because kinda like whats going to occur in 2013, they had nothing to show for their main home console.
