Nintendo is going to have at least three conferences. You're the one who makes no sense. You think the media will completely ignore games like Mario Kart (over 30 million sales on Wii? I don't think so), 3D Mario (over 10 million on Wii, try again), and Smash Bros (also over 10 million), just because the venue has changed.
Nintendo is still having a conference with journalists. They are also still broadcasting announcements and new footage to online viewers. They are also still going to have demos on the show floor. They are also going to be unveiling new, never-before-seen games.
Like I said, I'll make a bet if you can think of one.
