The original Wii was also hacked at around the same time, although the public version wasn't released until a year later iirc. The DS was also hacked pretty quickly. The 360 was also "hacked" like a year after launch, the problem with that one is that you will most likely get ban from Live. I know a lot of people who have a "hacked" 360 but were banned from Live xD
Really the only system that was saved was the PS3 thanks to the cell architecture, which thanks to that it might never be possible to fully hack or emulate the system.
