Correction, PS2 sold 127 million by Christmas 2007, which would be the same time period from PS3's launch until the time of PS4's release. While PS2 sold well, it seems about 50 million fewer people decided to purchase the following console in the same time frame. In addition, the same thing can be seen with the Vita, FAR fewer people purchased it than the previous consoles released by Sony. Sony as a company is in massive decline. Their videogame segment exemplifies this. Many Sony fans expected the Vita would sell amazingly to, a year and a half later it has yet to sell even 5 million units. Expect Sony to screw up the PS4 in a similar way, and to continue that trend of steep decline. |
yeah cause Sony handhelds have always been as strong as their home consoles. That's like comparing Nintendo handhelds to home consoles. It's a completely different case between those worlds. Sony leads the charts every week in home consoles by 40,000 and is still the highest priced.
