I dont really get why the OP and others seem to be so confident that the PS4 is going to dominate so much in this next gen. We really don't know much of anything yet, except some specifics on hardware and the specifics on the new xbox are mostly speculation still at this point and we won't know much until probably May 21st and probably the majority of both consoles will be revealed at E3.
Besides that we know most sales will depend on content offered and services that appeal to the most people. Graphics matter, but in a bit smaller way. I just don't see how some really think the gap is going to be that huge between PS4 and Xbox in Sony's favor. we pretty much don't know enough yet at all to make that kind of assumption, unless someone can point to official news about one of the consoles that will have a huge advantage over the other.
At this point of not knowing hardly anything our best bet is to say it stays the same and are both relatively close in sales. We pretty much know the PS4 is going to hold Japan solidly unless we don't know something about the next Xbox having some kind of magical appeal to Japan gamers. We know Japan usually stick to their local companies Nintendo and Sony. We know that for most of Europe Sony has stayed in the lead, but Xbox 360 still has decent sales there. Microsoft is staying in the lead in US and UK. So with not knowing much we might as well say it will relatively stay the same if both PS4 and Xbox offer similar features, similar games, and similar tech.
Now for the Wii U on the other hand thats a different story. Its definitely struggling when you see it not even selling as much as the Wii in places. Very bad news for Nintendo. What they really need so bad is new attractive content and a price drop soon. Even then Its going to be difficult for them to get off from the grom from this but Nintendo has always stood the test of time.
