i would be surprised if the wii u sold more then 25m units tbh, the console has gamecube written all over it

The Wii was underpowered, so was the PS2 and PS1.
How does the tablet fail? It's produced some amazing and unique games, and I am sure it will continue to do so.
WiiU already has about as good 3rd party support as the Wii did in its whole life.

no everyone does.. nintendo stuffed up bigtime calling the console the wiiu, they tried to latch onto the wii brand and it backfired..now many people see the wii u as an add on
also what's the main selling point for the wiiu? it's the tablet right.. it's not like nobody already has one of them already.. so why would anyone get a wiiu if they already own a tablet? the wii was original, the wii u isn't, that's what sets them both apart. plus the difference between the wiiu to the PS4 is much much larger to the difference between the PS2 to gc/xbox
nintendo should focus on the core, because they will save the wii u, the casuals won't be there for nintendo this time

The gamepad can attract casuals if they come up with some really interesting ideas that make it stand out. And it could very well get many of the multiplats for the next few years as long as PS360 continue to get support
