None.

After all Call of Duty changed things but nobody expected it when the first COD came out so impossible to predict, to be honest it's not exactly a nice direction it took it in either so best not think about that one :p

Then there was Metal Gear Solid 4...wasn't that supposed to change something, but nothing happened.

Industry is all about the cash more than ever so any change will be a bad exploited change.

Realistically, yea.

We can only say which games could make a difference, with no certainty. I mean Resident Evil 4 really help spark the zombie theme in games, Halo pushed FPS's, after Pokemon made Nintendo handhelds big, and I bet Super Mario Bros. in 1985 was unexpected as well.

I see nothing that shows an obvious shift in the industry, maybe Monster Hunter 4 for 3DS since that will be a big blow to Vita sales in Japan, but it won't change the way we game.

Ahhh yes of course forgot about RE4 Wii edition, that had some massive talk on here well past it's release, not so much in the real world - least where I am, but then I do live in the ass end of nowhere.

Got me thinking actually about Monster Hunter...maybe a PS4/Nextbox monster hunter localized could go crazy?

Unlikely to even get one but only thing I can possibly think of and that's a complete shot in the dark.
