| Zero999 said: bolded1: simple lie No Take-Two, no EA, no Deep Silver etc. Square Enix support is piss poor... there was Dragon Quest but no Hitman, no Tomb Raider, no Final Fantasy. No announcements either that I'm aware of? Thief announced for PC and PS4 but not Wii U? Even the ones that are supporting it aren't fully supporting it, e.g. Activision not bringing Destiny, Ubisoft not bringing Rainbow 6 or Far Cry. bolded2: I am talking about a real competition, ps2 was already out for a year when gamecube released and had everything at it's favor. that itself limited popularity for gamecube and xbox. PS4 and the next Xbox are very "real" competition, even if they're releasing a year later. Wii released a year after the 360 and that didn't stop it from wildly outselling it. what wii u has going for it are nintendo exclusives + multiplatforms. all the reason someone wants to buy a videogame. Multiplatform games it does not have/will not get that it's competitors do have/will get:
Bioshock Infinite GTAV Destiny Metal Gear Rising Metal Gear Solid V Tomb Raider Crysis 3 Dead Space 3 Metro: Last Light Hitman HD Trilogy Lost Planet 3 Prey 2 XCOM Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 DMC: Devil May Cry Mass Effect 3: Citadel Darkstalkers Resurrection Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Strom 3 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Battlefield 4 Saints Row IV Remember Me Devil's Third Tekken X Street Fighter The Walking Dead Far Cry 3 Hitman Absolution Thief Grid 2 Some of these are massive games, and all are significant. This list will just go on and on as we go into next gen. |
