With Goku's personality, he'd transport himself and Superman to a blue/white sun. With "5 minutes" left until Namek exploded, he waited for Freeza to reach his full power because he wanted to defeat him at full strength. Vegeta would make the same mistake. Now if you wanted a Saiyan that would do what is necessary to beat Superman, it would be Mirai Trunks. Unlike Goku and Vegeta, Trunks is willing to do what's necessary to win.
Side note: I'm not saying Future Trunks would win. I'm saying if that he knew about the Kryptonite, he'd actually use it.
