I find your OP highly biased because you simply have no evidence to backup what your predications at all. In fact it looks like a troll post more than anything, unless you would like to substantiate it a bit more it's nothing more than baseless opinion. I could easily formulate an OP to put the Nextbox at top or the Wii-U. Wii had nintendo first party support and it sold big time with no specs. Xbox 360 is still ahead of PS3 with virtually no 1st party support outside of Kinect in the last 2-3 years and has an inferior CPU allegedly. Those two of the top of my head with no thinking basically invalidate your OP. Hope you don't take this the wrong way and I'm not being too personal but you really need more than that to convince people. |
1. We all know why the Wii sold well and it fell off a cliff these past few years becuase of that very reason.
2. 360 had a year headstart and the price advantage. Microsoft did a good job of establishing this console into the market before Sony released the PS3. That's something that couldn't be overcome no matter how powerful the PS3s Cell processor was and how good games like Uncharted and Killzone may be.
If you look at what we know of next-gen consoles, its that they will both launch at the same time(probably weeks apart), they will be about the same price, and they will have big AAA games at launch. Is it really that crazy to assume that PS4 will outsell the next XBox? Seems like a safe prediction to me.
