Because the reason why we shouldn't be bisexual is because it leads to the other point that was mentioned about needing the oppsoite sex to discover more about ourselves. Female and male are similar, but different in many ways personality wise , feeling, emotions the way they do things.  They compliment each other at certain times, different ssituations brings out something different form the oppsite sex. You won't get the full 100% learning experience from a same sex marriage.  This is even more evident when it comes to raising kids.  That what nakes being a man or wman unique, we have a certain attributes that bring out the best/most of the opposite other. You can be with a man or woman all your life, but the journey won't be the same as being in a straight relationship.  I think we are all born bi sexuals , with no favoring any sex from the beginning. It's what we experience growing up and view from a very young age that determines our choice of being straight, gay, bi. I read somewhere that most people experiment with the same sex when very young, whether they admit or not, as part of them being aware of their hormones, sexual organs etc. i belive most people who think their gay are actually confused bisexuals. The ones who are really gay are the ones that act all  feminine or masculine, for example you have a guy who feels like a girl, and so he gets with another guy who feels the same way about himself, so you end up with two guys who feel feminine going out with each other, when really it should be the feminine getting with the masculine.  Maybe that feminine guy should have got with that lesbian masculine girl. Anyways i think it's wrong people hate on gays. I think the yshould accept it or say nothing, but at the same time  ithink it shouldn't be embraced because i fear for that future where gays dominate and this movie being a reality.

If hetero and homosexuality are seen as equal in society which is what gays want, neither will appear to be dominant in society (although I believe that hetero will always be the dominant one in society due to it being the dominant thing in our society at the moment and thus it will still the be "proper" thing) and as such, there should be an equal number of hetero and homosexuals in society or just lots of bisexuals. This way, people will get to choose for themselves who they want to go out with rather than have one group subtly enforcing their views on the other (even if they don't realise this happens, majority groups nearly always convey a sense of them being "right" due to the fact that they are the norm).

And as to the learning experience, I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree. I personally think the only way to get a "complete" experience as you put it would be to have relationships with both male and females as that way you get to learn what you can from both. However, I still think this an outdated thought process because society is starting to become more and more accepting (there is still a long way to go) of people that have personalities outside of what they should do. At the end of the day, there is no reason for women and men to ~that~ different personality-wise except from the fact that our current society tells them they should be different (ie. girls like pink, men like blue, men are sporty, women are not) so why should you have to have relationships with the opposite sex in order to learn about certain personality aspects?
