Short film: what if "gay" and "straight" were switched?

"what if "gay" and "straight" were switched?" What a convoluted hypothetical, if all of a sudden it switched....well we would head into our species extinction, Homosexuality is an evolutionary dead end making this hypothetical implausible.

Lets look at a more plausible hypothetical, What "IF" there was a cure for homosexuality in the form of a pill, would Homosexual people take the pill?

Note: I know most Homosexual advocates will state that homosexuality is not an 'Illness' or 'disease' to cure, but we already have medication to cure or assist with depression, anxiety, Attention Deficit Disorder, and schizophrenia. All brain related afflictions of chemical imbalances, so why not the potential to cure or assist with Homosexuality which it's self is can be considered a mental affliction, although it's taboo subject.

Again, it's a hypothetical worthy of at least some discussion as it at least is a more plausible situation, I know the film it's self was meant to illustrate to heterosexuals how it would be if the coin was flipped, but the hypothetical word is unrealistic and only goes to show that no matter which side of the coin your on you will be shunned for who you are and what you think, the very least we can do is allow free thought and free speech as means to free discussion with out the negative baggage of silencing those with opposing views which so often happens.

Anyways, my 2 cents, take it as you will.
