It had expanded gameplay, better shooting mechanics, and an RPG style. The only people Ive seen complain about the game are hardcore sony fans. Also uncharted is unbelievable. I've said it before but it comes down to if you like a ligh-hearted story more than a mature dark story. |
Uncharted is light hearted, but becomes dark as the story is better paced. The only game where the story started out dark is Uncharted 3. Uncharted 2 was had twists and turns in the story that kept people on the edge of their seat. Drake is a survivor much like Lara also goes up against the supernatural but much more in the vein of indiana jones unlike lara whose story was just way out there. It has more color, life and the Sully and chole are two characters who aren't the most trust worthy, but their unpredictability helps with the twists and turns of Uncharted. If I had a choice of who I could get with I would pick chole but I can definitely understand why Elena is the love of his life. She never leaves his side. Chloe is more like Lara Croft of old than the new Lara croft is.
Tomb Raider has built upon what Uncharted built for itself, but it isnt refined at all. Responses to shotgun fire is ungodly from the ai, Ive got a guy in the face three times. It literally took three shots. The Guards are rip offs of Uncharted and are actually dumber. The models of the characters are very limited, so certain people who played certain roles like Laras first kill resurfaces again, and again and again and again like an ungodly glitch. I had no problem shooting him in the face again, but it was just annoying. The characters are not likeable....they story was definitely wanting. Laras injuries and movement are not believable for three days on an island with life threatening injury with a bar. This game has so much to critique in retrospect.
