I think the scariest games were on PC this gen. Outside of Sirene Blood curse there wasn't really something scary.
I will go on Horror withdrawal for the next year(s) until Oculus rift for the mass market arrives. And than I will play the new Amnesia with surround headphones and VR and immerse myself in the game. Even cheap jump scares seem to be scary when using it. Totally cut of reality with Human sized creatures and real 3D will be a totally different level of fear.
