I'm sure Nintendo has something big to show or at least something kind of big. It could be a possibility they don't want to share the spotlight with Sony and Microsoft since all eyes will be on the two new consoles. So they would rather hold a separate conference to show off games, but it is also possible that they have nothing to show they perhaps could be a year away from releasing those big name games.

Nintendo knows they're going to get stomped. Sony hasnt finished showing off their guns and Microsoft will definitely impress the American audience without a doubt with their tech and multimedia uses. The buzz is rising to levels Nintendo themselves hasnt even seen yet before the Wii U came out.

So both consoles will sell faster than the Wii? That's a very big call.

The Wii is a rarity, because it was a console that gained the majority its buzz outside of the gaming world. It opened up a market of people who generally wouldnt game and gave them a momentary pleasure. With the Playstation and Xbox people are getting with every gen a console they can get more utility out of and this is why these multimedia/gaming consoles sell steadily and people wait to see what the next version will be like. I never stated they would do Wii Numbers, but thats nothing Sony's never surpassed anyway not to mention with a healthier gaming audience. Its Microsoft who has to prove they can pass those sales. Anyway, I think Nintendo is saving themselves the embarassment because I think their 2013 development cycle is working out as they would've hoped.
