Its a new game that unless you have a 3DS you've never played. Its launching in HD on all consoles same date. I don't see how $38 is too much for this?

I mean I waited to find BatmanAC for $20 on WiiU before I bought it soley because it was a very late port and other consoles with the same experience were already down there.

But here its not the same experience as 3DS version. It has HD visuals, new enemies, WiiU version in particular is tied amazingly to miiverse, extra difficulty mode, enahncements to various other modes, etc.

An HD version of any, non HD, game right now if new is $20. So considering they have added new things, $30 would be the right price but not higher for the PS360 version.  Maybe if the WiiU version has more stuff as you mentioned, then it could cost $40 or the $38 as you found.  But $50? No way in hell.

At least that is what I think because it is an old port of a portable game which has lower budget than a console game.  It is like if Peace Walker HD when it was new had a price tag $50.  I would have slapped Kojima in the face if that was the case. Or If GOW 1 HD alone was $40 I would have been quite angry really.  For me this HD port of a 3DS "with more content" (I only care about story mode in RE games) is not worth the $30.  So I will have to wait to get it at a lower price.

Off- topic: Capcom is charging $50 for the game, because after what happened to RE6, all the hardcore fans of survival horror craved for and old school RE game.  So Capcom is trying to grab the easy money (as always) by charging that much for the game, because there will be some hundred thousands that will grab it at full price.    It is something similar to what happened with the DMC collection.   They did it because people want the old DMC and not the crappy reboot.  So Capcom capitalized on that, and they did a crappy HD collection in order to grab money of tha fans of old DMC (me included), in order to get maximum profit from the fans.  Even if crappy, the DMC collection sold better than the new game still lol XD.

So you're going to let $8 stop you?
