He's probably right, the next gen Xbox will be upgraded version of ideas already shown just like the PS4 was.
I don't think it will have a touch screen in the main controller, but I am betting 'LookingGlass' will be a big feature, built in Kinetic, along with more social network integration for a new type of Xbox Live serivce, along with improved graphics and sequels to existing franchises to usher the console into a 2014 release.
