There's a few things to note and clarify about the research results here.
First, the study was conducted among adults. The fact that minors were excluded will result in a reduction of the apparent Nintendo share (and PSP as well), and a small inflation of smartphone/PC related share.
Second, the study was conducted among the general population, not gamers. A full quarter of respondents answered that they do not currently play any games. Not even Angry Birds (well in Japan it would be Puzzle&Dragons).
Third, and related to the first two, this is a general gaming survey, and includes smartphone and browser games. It's not just retail games like Zelda or Final Fantasy. That's why the PC share is so high.
Given all this, the amount of people responding that they are planning to buy a PS4 is pretty astounding.
