Considering the differences in the business cultures between the two markets and how the Wii U is grossly underperforming, how on earth can more-of-the-same be a good move?

then tell me how more of the same will be good for the other consoles? every console has more of the same. it was always like that, there are new and old franchises every generation. better graphics, etc. the difference between Nintendo and Xbox, PS is more of the "same" still sells better then every sony ip.
